Michael (Mike) E. Lehr, Esq.
Principal
Mike is a lifelong Annapolis resident and joined Sims & Campbell in 2013. His practice focuses exclusively on estate planning and administration, including wills and trusts, probate avoidance, tax-saving strategies, and charitable giving.
Mike stays current on estate and tax law through ongoing education and active involvement with the Anne Arundel County Bar Association’s Estate Planning Study Group. He has taught courses at Anne Arundel Community College and frequently lectures for professional organizations, including Anne Arundel County Bar Association’s Estate Planning Study Group, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, BayWoods of Annapolis, Thrive Networking Group, Anne Arundel Estate Planning Council (AAEPC), and other local financial and legal groups.
He is the immediate past chair of the AAEPC Executive Committee and an active member of WealthCounsel LLC, a national network of estate planning attorneys.
Active in the community, Mike serves on the Board of Trustees for the Annapolis Opera and has previously served on the Community Advisory Board for the Anne Arundel chapter of the YMCA, the Pastoral Council for St. Andrew by the Bay, and the Board for the Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Maryland.
He lives outside of Annapolis with his wife Katherine, a former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, and their three children.
