Christia A. Pritts joined Sims & Campbell as Counsel in 2019. Christia has nearly 20 years of experience in estate planning for high-net worth individuals and families. In her practice, Christia focuses on sophisticated estate and gift planning matters, estate and trust administration, business succession planning and asset protection. Christia enjoys working closely with her clients to create a personalized estate plan that fully addresses their concerns and achieves their goals.
Christia is the Chair of the Estate & Trust Law Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). Through her work on Section Council, Christia is involved with the development of estates and trusts legislation in an effort to improve the laws and promote the interests and welfare of the public and members of the Bar. She has lectured on the topic of Maryland estates and trusts legislation to groups such as the Maryland Association of the Judges of the Orphans’ Court, the MSBA Estate & Trust Section Study Group and the Montgomery County Bar Association, and at the 2024 MSBA Advanced Estate Planning Institute.
Prior to entering private practice, Christia was a law clerk for Judge L. Paige Marvel of the United States Tax Court.
