Napoleon’s Transcribed Will Up For Auction

Wednesday, November 6th, 2013

Napoleon wrote his Last Will and Testament in exile in 1821. It left his meager possessions to his friends on the island of Saint Helena. Napoleon also directed that his ashes be scattered along the Seine River in Paris. The King of France ignored that request and Napoleon’s remains didn’t make it to Paris until 1840.
